While getting my daily dose of Kpop, I noticed many different netizens pretty much batteling it out about whether B1A4 should be taken seriously or not all because of the way they act in their videos and during performances, along with their very colorful clothes.

Some netizen stated “I like the song but they won’t be taken seriously the way they are…they need to mature more.” Another stated “They need to lose the colorful clothes…”

Of course, this started an uproar against the netizen which has resolved by now. But this got me thinking. Is B1A4 considered too childish and immature to be taken seriously? I know they are rookies, but have they shown that they have potential to go far in the Kpop industry?

Personally, I think they are fine just the way that they are. I think that their silliness and colorfulness is what sets them apart from everyone else and also makes them way more loveable! Besides, they are refreshing. With so many new groups debuting this year, many of them pretty much looking the same and sounding the same, it’s great to see something different. Plus all of the members are extremely cute and talented!

This is just my opinion. What’s yours? =]

I think it makes their group different :O ! I’m guessing a lot of other kpop groups are childish. It’s kinda something you can’t help xD and their clothes being colorful is cute !! They’re really successful for rookie group seeing that they made 2 mini albums already . I love B1A4 even if they are childish ><


That is what makes them special, why should they change their clothes, I mean the colourfull clothes of them is cool, they would not be B1A4 without that kind of clothes! Well, we are not liking them because of the clothes but because of the songs, they have talent and they can sing! will support them always without or with the colourful flothes! xD <3

it’s just their concept like that.. maybe someday they will be mature, who knows.. but i love their concept now. TVXQ also once making Balloons MV with the childish costume,, but that’s so cute..

Well, kpop idols always have their cute side of them.
I’m sure they got more than that.
Maybe they’ll surprise fans with their maturity next time.
Plus, there are many groups just like them before.

well actually i’m a BANA myself.. and i find some of the members really really trying hard to be cute.. you know what i mean.. like gongchan.. i mean.. for me he’s not cute type he’s more of a handsome type. well that’s what i think


I think they have their own style that makes them different from everyone else. And if they go into a different category then people would say that they shouldn’t have changed and call them a sell out


I think they have them own style but this just the beggining of their carrier so maybe they’re looking for their real style, who knows.. I really loved the first album but the last one isn’t good/better to me. Maybe it’s too much, they counting on their cuteness, but too much.


I actually don’t really like their ‘messy’ video setting too.. but I think it’s their characteristic so it’s OK XD

No way!  A huge part of B1A4’s charm is their whacky personalities and funloving attitude.  If you take it too seriously you lose all the fun and I think B1A4 have the carefree attitude to make a huge fresh change within the KPOP industry.  Besides, look at how many groups debuted this year and every year - you need something unique to stand out against the competition.  I hope B1A4 doesn’t go for a sexy concept too soon and keep up with cool and fun concepts smile


I think that’s why I love them so much. Their colorful-ness and cuteness is what attracted me to them ^^
