As you may have seen, a popular Youtube channel called Listentoourlights had uploaded a tribute video for SNSD’s The Boys and 2ne1’s I Am The Best. In the video you can see different lights of all shapes, sizes, and colours flashing to the beat of the music. It’s an Christmas light display with over 25K computerized LED. The owner of the house in located in Austin, Texas. My favourite video is I Am The Best, the flashing lights and the catchy upbeat music really matches well with it. Enjoy the videos! More »

Over the summer, I did a Korean Drama marathon or checklist which built up as I discovered more dramas that were recommended. I found it really interesting though cause every time I started a new drama, it just so happened that the drama I just started had an actor or actress in common from the last! Anyway, what I want to share with you is my thoughts on what I watched whether new or old and how much I like it. You’ll probably have seen some of these dramas since they’re more well known. Listening to all the songs in a newly released album is actually one of the nicest things in kpop. I say this because most of the time the best songs in the album are the ones which are not performed live and thus not popularized. I’ve got an iPhone on christmas and had to download all Kpop apps. One app was really awesome : KBS Sukira kiss the radio with Ryeowook and Sungmin. You can listen to them for FREE! It’s always between 10pm and 12pm and if you are an E.L.F you must have it. One disadvantage is that you can only hear them not watch. But it’s enough to hear their voices More »

Big Bang one of the talentest and popularest Kpop groups will make a comeback. After the problems and bad reports about them in 2011 they want to be more active in this year. We all know, 2011 wasn’t a good year for Big Bang. First they released the fourth album which went on to become a chart-topper. But after the 31st may all went bad with Daesung’s car accident. The motorcyclist died. I think all of you know about this accident. Then G Dragon was arrested and warned by the Seoul police for smoking marijuana. But then there is a glimmer of hope. Big Bang won the MTV EMA 2011 Best Worldwide Act Award as representatives of Asia-Pacific. All 5 members were present at the awards show, making it especially memorable since it was Daesung and G-Dragon’s first public appearance in a while since Daesung’s car accident and G-Dragon’s marijuana scandal. And now they will make their comeback.
