Chapter 2: The Strange Necklace

Luhan panics and frantically looks for Kai.
Hey! Ella looks toward the direction of the voice.
Luhan: Have you seen a tall guy with a black jacket?
Ella: Yeah he ran towards the right side of the venue.
Luhan: Thank you! He runs off.
Luhan reaches the room and sees Kai grabbing the microphone box.
Luhan: Kai! We’re going to start soon. What took you so long?
Kai smiles: Oh nothing. He grabs Luhan’s hand. Let’s go hyung!
They reach backstage still holding hands. Sehun sees them.
Sehun: Hey what are you guys doing? He grabs Luhan’s hand and walks onto the stage.
Kai walks onto the stage. The lights are hot and fans are screaming even louder.
He had to look for her. “History” starts. She wasn’t near the stage. He had to move toward the end of the stage. They all reach the end and sees her. She is shocked with her mouth slightly open. He tried not to laugh. Somehow he found her shocked expression quite cute. The song ends and “What is Love” comes on. He looks towards her and smirks. He winks and the girls around her scream more.
Flashback~
Ella walks back to her seat. Her friends asked where she was.
Ella: Oh I just went to get some air.
Exo comes out. “History starts”
Ella: (I wonder how he knew when Exo was going to come out?)
So this was them. Kai was right, they are good. They walk closer. Ella: (The tallest guy wasn’t bad looking)
Friend: Oh so you like Kris? He’s very good-looking.
Ella then sees Kai. She is shocked and yells out “Oh my god! Its him!
Friend: I know right? Kai is so hot!
Ella: His name is Kai?
She thinks back to the incident outside at the hall. Oh god, what have I done? “What is Love” starts playing. Kai looks at her and winks. Girls scream louder. Ella: (I called him a fan boy! Oh! She put her head down in embarrassment. The concert ends and everyone walks out of the venue. Ella remembers her promise with Kai.
Friends: Hey Ella, Wanna go eat with us at K-Town?
Ella: Oh no I’m fine. I’m gonna go home. You guys go ahead!
Friend: Are you sure? Be safe when you go home.
Ella smiles: I will!
She starts walking to the café when she feels a sharp pain at the back of her head. She turns around and sees five girls. The tallest one spoke.
Hey you, What’s your relationship with my Kai?
Ella: I have no idea what you mean. I don’t even know him.
Tall Girl: Don’t be stupid! He winked at you earlier! There has to be something up.
Ella recalled the incident. “That idiot” She muttered. She was going to get him for that.
Girl: Why don’t you answer? Stay away from our oppas. She shoves Ella.
Furious Ella walks away. She didn’t want to start anything. Another girl blocks her way.
Ella: If you continue to bother me I will hurt you.
The tall girl charges forward to hit Ella. Ella walks towards her to hit her. A guy comes in between them and Ella’s accidentally hits him and her hands clings onto his necklace. The guy’s necklace falls onto the ground. It was a sun shaped necklace. Ella sees it. The guy quickly picks it up and puts it away.
Ella: Oh my god, I am so sorry
Guy: You girls stay away from her. If I ever see you again I wont let you off.
The tall girl is furious and raises her hand to slap him. He grabs her wrist and puts it down. Angrily the girls stomped off. He turns around with his face hidden by his cap.
Ella: Thanks for helping me.
Guy: Are you alright?
Ella: Yes because of you.
Guy: I’m glad you’re okay. He walks off.
Ella: Wait!
She wanted to know who he was.
