A lot of Kpop artist make Japanese songs and I wonder does that also make them Jpop???? How do I respond when friends ask me if I listen to Jpop, do I say yes or no? For example I have a lot of U-kiss’s Japanese songs on my Itunes but I still call it Kpop, I even sang Forbidden love for a talent show and everyone though it was Kpop since they knew I am obsessed with Kpop. Has this happened to you before? Hmmm I’m just going to keep calling it Kpop since they are Korean artists~

:OO What about some groups having Chinese songs? Does that make them Cpop too??? Well I’m not really sure on this one because they have sub groups dedicated to Mandarin songs~ Like EXO-M & Super Junior M.

So I guess I do listen to Cpop and Jpop too.

I love DBSK’s Why did I fall in love with you. They are my favorite Kpop = Jpop! =D

I agree I just keep referring to it as Kpop. I think TVXQ could be the only one legitimately considered Jpop since they promote under a different name and label and they write the songs in Japanese. 


i really love DBSK~ Why did I fall in love with you.. of course, since i’m a cassiopeia.. :D


I think the Japanese songs DBSK did released as Tohoshinki, the ones that weren’t remakes (which there are A LOT of) should be classified under Jpop. And since most of my favorite songs ever are THSK’s jpop songs, idk what to choose… xD


i consider remakes kpop and originals jpop.


You’re not the only one with this problem :O I don’t know the answer!
