My Playlist 21-30

Here’s part 3 of my playlist. And like the previous parts, this will also include songs that are old and new, be it from Korea, Japan, or Taiwan. Enjoy.

21. Psy - 77 Hakgaeron [Seventy Seven 101] featuring Leessang, Kim Jin Pyo

This song is actually rated R for its explicit language and sexual content, but music is music and I like the song because of how it sounds. The lyrics mention a lot of household names and brands like Seo Taeji, Aladdin, Calvin Klein, and Guess. This song is from PSY’s Best 6th Part 2.

22. Fly To The Sky - Like A Man

Like A Man is from Fly To The Sky’s 2006 album, Transition. And if you’ve ever seen other people imitate Hwanhee’s singing, it is from this song. The song is very soft but strong and the same time.

23. Wonder Girls - Dear Boy

This song is from the Wonder World album which was one of their greatest works to date. After an English opening, we get to hear Yubin sing, despite being the rapper of the group. The song is a “sad story” about a girl questioning the guy’s love for her. Unlike others though, this is a “story with an end.”

24. Homme [2AM's Changmin and 8eight's Lee Hyun] - I Was Able to Eat Well

Big Hit really “hit it big” with this sub group. I think this duo is definitely my favorite project group next to GDTOP. This song is about a guy getting over his breakup and “eating well” without “wasting his tears.” Changmin and Lee Hyun’s voice match really well and the performances they had for this song were phenomenal.

25. Danson Tang - Ai Wo [Love Me]

Even though I was introduced to Danson through dramas, I really liked his music after I heard this song. It’s another song about a guy who can’t live without this one girl. This song is from Danson’s debut album.

26. CN Blue - Hey You

This song is from CN Blue’s Ear Fun album. I love the adlibs they always have in their songs. I actually didn’t even know that “blah blah” was part of the lyrics until I looked it up.

27. Seo In Gook - Tease Me

I was obsessed with this song for months when it came out and I still listen to it a lot today too. I don’t know if it’s the song or Seo In Gook’s beautiful voice, but this song is addictive. Surprisingly enough, I share the same birthday as Seo In Gook. The song is about “taking things slow” in a relationship. Tease Me is from the mini album Perfect Fit which was released on April 12, 2012.

28. 8eight - Cover Those Lips

This song is from their 2nd self-titled mini album which was released in 2011. The song is about telling someone to basically “shut up” because you don’t want to hear it. I like the song because it’s a ballad style but it’s not a super slow song that puts you to sleep.

29. Shimizu Shota - Home

This is my all-time favorite Japanese song. I love the sound, his voice, and the lyrics. Even the music video makes you think of “home” [which you will have to look for yourself because I could not find it on Youtube]. I think the song is very comforting.

30. B.A.P. - Dancing in the Rain

Dancing in the Rain is track 4 off of BAP’s No Mercy album. Apparently this is a cheerful song about making out. I liked this song right away because it was really different from BAP’s usual “warrior” style.
