Since debuting in 2008, balladeer group 2AM has been making our hearts melt with their awesome vocals and touching songs. The group has been established as one of the best singing groups in the world of k-pop. But are they really just a singing group? I remember watching in an interview that these boys had to explain the rumors that they were chosen from the Oneday boys to be part of the singing unit because they’re dancing abilities are questionable. Well, the next series of videos show us why that rumor is so false. The following videos show this group of balladeers strutting their stuff to various girl group songs. More »

Whenever we hear that our favorite idols are soon going to have comebacks, aside from the fresh music, we’re actually more excited to see the concept their gonna be showcasing. Personally, i’m quite particular with the idols’ hair styles. I always love to wait and wonder what new look my favorite idols are gonna sport. While most of them change lengths and colors, some are just stuck with their previous ‘do as if cutting or turning into blond or any other hair color is such a huge sin. Here is a list of idols who are really quite stuck with whatever hair they are sporting right now.. More »

Okay, so I’m sure that many of us are going to college some day whether it be to chase our dreams, get a good job, or to satisfy a parent. As a freshman in college, I have learned of the many clubs we have in my college. One of these clubs is the Asian Student Association (ASA). I wanted to join it, but never did because I was afraid that I would be the only non-asian, or the only hispanic person in the club. I felt that I would be misplaced in a club such as the Asian Student Association since I am not Asian. I soon came to find out that I was not the only non-asian, however, I was the only hispanic there. But I learned a fact: the Asian Student Association in my school was started by a hispanic boy. To me, this Taiwanese actor/singer looks alot like U-Kiss’ AJ! I’ve seen this actor, Richie Ren, in a Hong Kong drama before, but after I finished, I didn’t give him much of a second thought. However, after I watched a behind the scenes video for the production of Neverland (I guess it was the first time I’ve seen AJ’s face close up), I started thinking, “This guy… With his bare face… I feel like I’ve seen it before…” even though he’s a new member! Then, I realized, “No, I’ve seen someone who looks like him!” That actor!” and today I finally decided to search up his name XD So tell me what you think: More »

Yeah, Fahrenheit’s last song as whole. “The Heart Of Asia” I’m heartbroken because they were the first groups I ever got to listen to. They were like, my life’s soundtrack. They were way beyond kpop back then. They really mean a lot to me and maybe to some of you guys too. I knew it was coming one day though, and somewhat, I was ready… From Ai Dao to The Heart Of Asia. The best 5 years I had with Fahrenheit. Wu Chun will be focusing on his acting than singing and will be leaving Fahrenheit. More »

Hello guys, today I want to share to you about some of the Kpop inspired boybands. We know that the hallyu wave already spread over the world. Some people want to follow their successful way with making their own boybands (and girlbands),try to promote their music (M-Pop,P-Pop,V-Pop,Indopop etc). Usually they got so many antis from kpop fans because of the plagiarism issue or the fans just don’t like how they copy the fans’ idol. I’ll share some that I know here More »

Hello, fellow Ningin-ers! As summer gives her rights up to autumn, I’m living off my last school-free days. And, since it’s my last week of my summer vacation, I spend my time wisely, staying up all night and surfing Youtube for funny videos. Once school starts that’s gonna become one of the things I’ll never have time for. More »

A friend recently introduced me to this local band in the Philippines. The band’s name is called “Maldita“. Originally, they were a trio who sang from the province of Zamboanga. They aimed to make it big in the city of Manila, and they did. Unfortunately, I think only one of them made it to Manila and there, they became a band of five people.

My mom bought some soba (buckwheat) noodles hoping that I would cook them for lunch because I’m still on my summer vacation. She bought it at a Korean supermarket. On the back of the packaging it says “PRODUCT OF KOREA”. This was interesting to me. I have never eaten soba noodles, but I have always thought that soba noodles were from Japan. But I guess any country can produce buckwheat if they have the land and resources to grow it… More »

Hey guys! So I know a lot people like K-pop and that K-pop is very well known. I was just wondering if anyone ever heard of V-pop (when I say V-pop, I mean the Vietnamese from Vietnam making music, not the Vietnamese that are in the US, just saying in case there is confusion). More »
